FAQs
What should we expect from the Delivery Review?
More Questions?
We most often work with expert-led organisations delivering complex, regulated work. In particular, environmental consultancies operating in areas such as approvals, advisory, cumulative impacts, and offsets.
We also work with organisations in adjacent sectors where decisions carry regulatory, reputational, or operational risk. What matters most is the nature of the work, not the industry label.
You can expect:
a clear picture of current delivery bottlenecks
identification of the few leverage points that matter most
practical recommendations grounded in how your team actually works
clarity on whether further work is warranted.
It is designed to be useful in its own right, even if you decide not to proceed further.
Who do you typically work with?
What kind of problems do you help solve?
We help organisations address delivery issues that sit beneath the surface, such as:
unpredictable timelines
inconsistent quality
over-reliance on a small number of senior people
rework and review bottlenecks
systems that do not scale with complexity
Our focus is on how work actually moves through the organisation, and where that process undermines outcomes.
How do engagements usually start?
Most engagements begin with a free call to see whether we are a good fit and, if so, to scope out our Delivery Review. This is a short, fixed-scope diagnostic that looks at how work flows today. Where systems support sound judgement. And where they introduce friction, risk, or unnecessary effort.
This leads to some very clear, structured recommendations on what to address, what to leave alone and what improvements we can deliver for you.
Will this create more work for us to manage or learn?
Not the way we implement it. We focus on simple, lightweight tools that:
Integrate into your current workflow
Don’t require major training
Start delivering value almost immediately
Reduce complexity rather than introduce it.
If it doesn’t make your day easier, we don’t implement it.
How disruptive is this to our existing systems?
The Delivery Review is designed to fit around real delivery pressures, not disrupt them. Any changes beyond that are introduced incrementally, tested in practice, and adjusted as needed.
If a change would add unnecessary complexity, we do not recommend it.
Do you sell software or tools?
No. We are not a software vendor and we do not push particular platforms. Where technology is used, it is selected based on fit, risk, and value. And only where it strengthens delivery rather than complicates it. Our role is advisory and system-focused, not product-led.
No problems! We strongly believe that clarity starts with a conversation.

Sometimes. But selectively. AI can be fantastic to support tasks such as synthesis, comparison, or consistency checking. It is never used as an autonomous decision-maker. Human judgement, review, and accountability remain explicit at all times. The question we always ask is not “can we use AI?”, but “does using AI improve clarity, defensibility, or delivery?”
